A Rather Unusual Giveaway
Okay, so I am a little bit nervous about this giveaway and about whether there will be any interest for it – but I thought I’d let you have at it! See, as well as having this awesome editorial gig, I enjoy a little bit of knitting in my spare time (yes, I am just *that* cool!)
The other day I decided to design a bookmark – a Strange Chemistry bookmark. Take a look at the pictures:

And the reverse:

This is absolutely one of a kind (considering I haven’t knitted anymore of these!)
And I am giving it away to a random commenter – leave a comment below, including the best way to get hold of you, and I’ll pick someone to send this unique bookmark to. (Please don’t leave me hanging!)

I love it. Pick me. Pick me. Pick me!
KNITTING!
Me, me, me!! That’s a bookmark that the kids can’t crumple :D And of course, it’s awesome ;-)
That is one cool bookmark!
My knitting skills barely pass knit one purl one, so am very impressed. If I win I shall use it with pride :)
Ooh! Me! Me! I can never have enough bookmarks, and, as with stationary, I treasure the best ones.
Email would be best (provided).
We love bookmarks! Especially soft ones that don’t ruin pages. Especially those that are a one off. And especially those that have a lovingly, clever design. In fact, We Sat Down’s logo is a handmade felt bookmark. We could do a swap – we’ll design a one off for you from us :)
Whoo! Rocking bookmark Amanda…it’s definitely one of the most unique giveaways I’ve encountered; love it. :)

How brilliant! Very impressed with your skills.
Ooo! I wish SC authors could get in on this! *covets*
I can’t knit my way out of a skein of yarn, so I bow down to your awesomeness. You not only made a shape that you meant to, you used more than one color and made a design that’s full of win.
Will you work for Lindt truffle wrappers? ;) I have lots of those.
For a contact, email is good (I’m assuming you can see it from the form), through the website there’s a contact button and Twitter address..it all works.
Ooh!!! I like!!! I want it…
Ooh, how pretty, darling! What an absolutely lovely idea.. :3 The email provided is the best way to contact me.
Very creative! I’d love to win this!

It’s beautiful. And unlike my latest knitting exploits, it’s not full of accidental holes and wonky stitches.
You should be proud of it :)
Considering even knitting a scarf is out of my range of abilities I am so impressed! That is totally cool! Count me in!

Hey, don’t you know all the cool people knit? At least at my library, which is actually where I learned–a group of my library patrons came in and taught me! So knitting and books go hand in hand in my world. You did an awesome job!
I really wish I had an amazing skill!, I guess I’ll just stick to golf XD, and you can contact me by email :).
Oh my, that’s awesome. I know a lot of people who knit, but I’ve never been able to get co-ordinated enough to pull it off. That’s fantastic!
(The provided e-mail address is the best way to contact me.)
Thats so cool – I love knitting but I’m lucky to make a straight line – patterns are WAY beyond my abilities! I love the chequered pattern though & who could ever own enough bookmarks?

I collect bookmarks… the more unique the better. The problem is, I rarely read books slowly enough to need to use them!
OMGosh, this is so cool. I hope I’m randomly picked. It will match my room where I have loads of books. :)
It’s awesome! If it’s open internationally then PICK ME! I’d love it
