Strange Chemistry Imprint Launch
On 23rd August some few people will be joining us at the British Library for the imprint launch of Strange Chemistry (yes, I know it feels like we’ve been around for AGES!) Due to lack of space and the fact that many of you wonderful people are based in different countries, we’ve had to limit the guest list and participation.
And that makes us sad. So we’ve decided to do something a little bit different for you guys online!
From now until 23rd August we’re running a competition. The prize is EITHER a Kindle OR 12 months of Strange Chemistry titles (depending on whether you’ve made the change to ebooks or not!) On 23rd August we’ll announce our winner. This competition is worldwide.

To gain entry to this rather fab little competition, we’re asking for you to spread the word about Strange Chemistry. This can be done via reviews of our launch titles, interviews/guest posts with our authors or editor, cover art posts, Waiting on Wednesday participation (anything, really, apart from In My Mailbox, or any other form of this meme). We’ve attached a Mr Linky below – just pop your links there over the next month. Every link equals an entry into this competition! Oh, and do spread the word – it would be wonderful to see as many entries as possible!
p.s. Any questions? Pop them in the comments section.

Hi there. I am a member of ‘the edge’ – eight authors who write ‘edgy fiction’. We do joint publicity events such as school or library visits and festivals. We also run our own website / blog. We have quite a good footfall (visits in the thousands) including a significant following among librarians. I was wondering if you would like to do a guest post on our blog. We’d be very interested in the process of launching a new publishing house and I’m sure our readers would be too. Our website is : edge authors.blogspot.co.uk
Do let me know if you’d like us to put something in the schedule. If you have enough to do, what with the launch:) then good luck and we look forward to hearing about your success.
Warm regards
Bryony (Edge member)
Hi – I own and run http://www.bookclubforum.co.uk and http://www.bcfreviews.wordpress.com – VERY happy to review some titles, and do author interviews / forum chats, give aways etc. Please get in touch if I can help.

Hi, here’s my entry for the competition, a preview of your titles that are being released in the rest of 2012. I also contribute articles to http://thefoundingfields.com/ under the same username.
Hi. I review fantasy at http://adventuresfantastic.blogspot.com and science fiction at http://futurespastandpresent.blogspot.com. I’m a member of the Robot Army and would be glad to review any of your premier titles.
I should point out that I have not included anything about Strange Chemistry on The Founding Fields yet but will do when I can. I have also compiled a list of Strange Chemistry titles (with cover arts) on Goodreads: http://www.goodreads.com/list/user_vote/1480518.
I am a college student focusing on adolescent literature. I am also writing a YA paranormal novel. Although my blog has not been up for long, I have reviewed some (adult and YA), and Am always looking for good books to review. Good reviews help authors get noticed, and readers find books. I would love an opportunity to read and review the debut books for Strange Chemistry.
Hi there!
Here’s one of my entries for this. I’ve done interviews with three of your authors recently. I two are now posted on the #YABluewater blog. http://www.yabluewater.blogspot.co.uk The third will go up soon. :D

Have just made a post about my review books, including 3 from Strange Chemistry. Will hopefully have some reviews too soon.
Would love to take part, my blog ranks very highly in Ebuzzing literature lists and I have a good crossover audience for parents as well. Also my two eldest children review, my daughter particularly enjoys science fiction/fantasy. Perhaps a joint interview article withaneditor on why this genre is so relevant and interesting to todays children?

Read this book everyone, it is amazing.

WOW! What a fantastic giveaway! I wish I was able to go to the launch of the imprint though! I hope it is a smashing success and I can’t wait to start adding my links! :) Thanks for such a GREAT opportunity!
Here is link for Countdown To STRANGE CHEMISTRY; and what a great way to launch! :)

I added my link :-)
I accidentally put in a link that has vN in it. I was thinking all Angry Robot books, not just Strange Chemistry. I can’t seem to delete it out of the linky.
All the books look fantastic. Congrats!
I’d be delighted to host a guest post from one of your authors or editor. I’ll be posting WoW and review posts over the next couple of weeks. Please let me know if one of them is available.
Thanks for the competition!
I’ve posted a link to my post on your new art work for Pantomime…unfortunately, the website/browser autofilled the title and the link in Mr Linky says it’s “Hal Spacejock”!! It’s not, but your Mr Linky won’t let me edit/delete!!
The post will be live at 05:30 BST on 06 Aug
I’ve posted links to my reviews of The Assassin’s Curse and Poltergeeks. I really loved The Assassin’s Curse and can’t wait to read the other two books. Thanks!
I had featured A.C. Rought’s Broken as a pick for my Waiting On Wednesday a couple of weeks ago – I can’t wait for it!
I review a mix of YA, NA/YA-Mature and some adult fantasy, speculative fiction, light horror, dystopia, paranormal and, well, generally the kitchen sink with a few exceptions.
I’d love to host reviews with author events and cover reveals and/or other multi-media promotions. My blog gets very good traffic (I’d be happy to provide stats to you) and I really enjoy supporting new publishers.
Best of luck on your launch!
Hi
I recently read and reviewed Poltageeks and completely adored it! Here’s a link to the review:

I promoted POLTERGEEKS via your upcoming releases extracts — what a fantastic voice Sean Cummings writes Julie as!
Very excited about all your upcoming releases and I wish you every success. My book review blog is quite new and doesn’t get fantastic traffic yet, but hopefully it will help get the word out.
